Your first coffee maker should be an Aeropress
People often ask me what I use to make coffee or what I recommend for a starter brewer. Nothing, and I mean nothing, matches the Aeropress. I have had mine since April of 2016, thousands of cups have gone through it and it has traveled with me everywhere. It is: * Cheap * Portable * Practically indestructible * Simple to use * Makes excellent coffee * Super easy to clean I would recommend the Standard or the XL. The Go is too small and the Standard is more than portable enough. A basi

My Native Books/Reading page is now live
I updated "Reading" from being a widget embed of Goodreads, to being the theme's native book showcase option. Trong the creator of the theme was super helpful . I don't know if I should bother putting the authors summary of the book and a link or if people should just google it. If you think its useful to you in someway to me to have the metadata rather then just the title on my site please let me know . As a side note should probably make my contact form native now as well lol. This is day

Burning the Midnight Oil
I just work better at night. No matter what I do or how much I change my sleep schedule (yes, even for months on end), I still just work better at night. Whether it's DSPS or just less stimuli, I cannot tell you. What I can tell you is... I just work better at night. Oh, and it's Blaugust, so get on the Fediverse!! This is day 27 of #100DaysToOffload
Claire Obscure Expedition 33- Almost all Wheeee
This game was a wild ride, the hype is real! I really thought I was going to write a long philosophical post, but in the end this is all that really mattered. This was the first turn based game / JRPG that I enjoyed outside of Pokémon. Second off, this was my first game that I played through completely with a controller as I finally found one that fit my hands. The Good: A whole lot of Wheeeeeeeee I found the gameplay lots of fun with a basically perfect level curve. I played on expeditioner
Anytime I see AI generated pictures....
I lose more faith in humanity from its ever dwindling reserves in my heart. STOP using fucking AI generated images they look like shit and you look like an asshole posting them. At minimum take a regular photo and apply some sort of filter or sketch-work. Yes that's where I am at telling people to apply filters. We truly live in the worst timeline. Deleting Twitter
I haven't touched twitter in ages but decided it was finally time to delete my crap off of there.Needed like three different sketchy extensions as I didn't want to pay for a full year of Redact.dev . But either way everything is now gone. Come join us on the Fediverse. This is day 24 of #100DaysToOffload

Slower read and short but still pretty solid.
No longer Working!: Backup Network Storage using Backblaze Personal
No longer working As mentioned below, it has stopped working for me as well. If anyone has gotten it working with another method, please let me know. TIA. Please note this is against TOS I do not take responsibility if you get banned. Backblaze Personal, as most of you know, is my recommended cloud backup platform. It’s cheap and has unlimited storage. The thing is you cannot use it on storage that isn’t direct connected to the machine. In order to bypass this limitation and b
Microsoft Parental Controls also Dark Patterns you Into using Edge
I set up Microsoft’s parental controls on someone’s account a while back and I manage it for her. Last night, she was panicking because she couldn’t access the internet. At first, I assumed it was due to time limits I might have set and forgotten about. But no,it turns out Microsoft simply decided to block Chrome, with no notification, no email, nothing. Just a silent update that made me scramble . Why cant there be any freaking consistency. Come on man! This is day 18 of #10
Path of Destruction

Linkedin Verification
Had to use a verified LinkedIn profile to continue using the Action1 Free plan. What the actual fuck, they do a full scanning of your passport and then profile photos of you in order to verify. Felt like I was going through border patrol. We live in a world . This is day 17 of #100DaysToOffload
Incompetent IT
I don’t know why there are so many incompetent IT people, especially in Israel. But there are. Here’s a quick documentation of what happened. My friend reached out and said that his Surface Pro with Snapdragon couldn’t be upgraded to Windows 11 Pro for Active Directory. I thought that made no sense. I went in and tried activating Windows 11 Pro by using the Generic key and then MAS and hardware ID. That didn’t work. So, I asked on the Mas if this was an issue with hardware, ID, or
